I majored in civil engineering at a college and am interested in historical infrastructures. I have also guided foreign people around Toyama prefecture as an international activity of an English circle. I volunteered as an interpreter at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games training camp in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, in 2021.
The Hokuriku region boasts numerous sightseeing spots, including incredible landscapes such as Kenrokuen Garden and Tateyama, as well as tasty food like Kaga dishes and yellowtail, and traditional crafts like Kanazawa gold leaf, Takaoka copperware, and Inami woodcarving. I also introduce these spots, as well as historical infrastructure tourism, such as the Kurobe Dam, and industrial tourism.
I also work as a translator. I translated the Japanese firefly squid tourism pamphlet into English in 2020. I take not only guide jobs but also translation jobs, such as translating tourism pamphlets from Japanese into English.
