I was born and bred in Fukui. I’ve been a public junior high school teacher of English and art for about forty years. My hobbies are traveling and making sketches of the sceneries where visit and of people I see in the places. I also engage in making woodblock prints. I’m good at art in general and ukiyoe in special. As a tour guide,I can guide customers in Fukui’s not only tourist spots but also nice places of scenic views, local traditional industrial areas. I have a couple of experiences of guiding in Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. Not only Fukui, but Kanazawa City, Kaga areas, Shirakawagou, Takayama and Toyama are my specialities.
